Orange Realty Masters has founded a place where guitars can be given to aspiring young musicians interested in this stringed instrument. We are fortunate to have individuals in the music industry, and key individuals in the community who support our cause. Our community project, "A GIFT OF STRINGS"  provides us with the opportunity to give back in a meaningful manner to our youngsters. 

"A GIFT OF STRINGS"  targets pre-teens and teens who demonstrate an interest and the desire to learn the guitar. The gift is generally a beginner’s instrument, either an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar with many of the accessories.  

As a youngster, our broker, Bill Jefferson, had a passion for the guitar. He recalls a time when several relatives and he attempted to make their own guitars out of scraps of wood found around the yard. He finally received his first beginner’s guitar for Christmas at ten years old. His mother pointed to an oak switch she had placed in the corner, then said, “The day you break it, I’m gonna break you.”

It is this background, which keeps him collecting these instruments to place into the hands of desiring youngsters. Orange Realty Masters has many friends who find and donate abandoned or discarded guitars. These guitars often have a story of their own or are acquired through the purchase of other equipment.  Part of our mission is to give back to the community in their effort to “be responsible corporate citizens and visible community partners.”
